AP, UTI, APD?!! That was the first diagnosis when I got my first check up at the Medicard clinic (our health card provider). Then they run some tests (CBC and Urinalysis) on me to verify what's really the cause of my stomach pains. When I got back after our sumptuous lunch at Food Choices, the doctor said, "It may be AP (Appendicitis)," so he got the other result of my CBC which shows that I have a high percentage of segmenters (0.72%). He asked me to stepped out and wait because he'll check where can they transfer me for further check-up. He went back after a few minutes:

Dr. F: "Wait ka muna sa labas, andito pala yung surgeon namin, aayusin lang yung room"

Me: "Now na?"

Dr. F: "Ya.. Don't worry. Wag kang matakot."

Me: (FREAK OUT)

Thank God, my friends were there. Raymond, Sarah, and Geoff were there to support me and help me when I was transfered to Makati Medical Center. I don't know what will I do if they were not there. They stayed until my father came at around 9pm.

I was waiting for 3 hours at the Primary Care, check up by some doctors and I was given some medications that were injected on my veins. But still, the pain remains the same. So finally they decided to admit me and endorse to the proper doctors.

The following morning, they get another blood test and after an hour I was taken to the Utrasound room. They checked I think seven of my internal organs as I can see on the monitor (spleen, pancreas, kidney, gall bladder, appendix, and others..) Yet, they still can find the real cause of my pain.

At around 9am, I think Dr. Cruz (i believe that she is the doctor of the internal medicine) check me and she talked to my father that I should be taken to surgery right then. And it is now confirmed, APPENDICITIS.

After an hour, the pre-op nurses prep me up for my operation. Then I was taken to the pre-op room where I heard someone singing, "You're way too beautiful girl… Suicical..suicidal…" Hehehe.. I was calmed for a few minutes because I really feel nervous for this is my first operation though I know that it's nothing big for these doctors. Appendectomy is a piece of cake for them.

I don't what had happened during the operation because I believe i was asleep then, but one thing I remember before I was put to sleep is that they gave me the spinal anesthesia which made me feel numb from waist down. And as they were giving me this, they saw my henna tattoo on my back and I heard them saying, "Did you got it from Boracay? You went to Boracay noh?" And though I feel a little weak then, I replied, "Hehehe..yeah"

Then I don't know what happened next because when I finally get back to my senses, the surgeon said my operation was done already. And I was taken to the recovery room and that is when I got chills and my body is shaking momentarily because of the effect of the anesthesia.  I cried when they injected another drug on my veins because it feels so painful. After some time, they transfered me back to my room. I saw my father's face that he looks relieved.

I got some text messages and calls from my high school and college friends, colleagues and former officemates and other friends and relatives. Thanks to everyone who gave their prayers and support.

Special thanks to those who came and visit me:

- Tina (for everything, thanks girl!) and Rap

- Sarah, Raymond, Geoff, and Ric

- my eyem1 superfriends - Chii, Lloyd and Daryl (thanks sa yellow cab..tepar tayo when i get back!)

 Thanks to all.

I still can't go to work now because I have to rest for a while. I hope to be back soon.
