fighting all the demons

a friend of mine mentioned to me that maybe i should update my blog. hehehe. =P so here it is. actually, i've been busy lately that is why i can't find time to write about how my life was going for the past two weeks. and i was also surprised when i read that the last update i had is just a one-liner post.

so what i've been up lately?

=work=
for the whole month of august, i've been busy with work. finally! but it's also very challenging at the same time. i like what i do here. i love my work. i'm in the pre-sales department, handling software solutions (more on infrastructure and business solutions). i do product demo, proof of concepts, documentation,meet up with clients and all. exciting and sometimes full of tension and expectations but it's all part of the learning process. for every account that i've handled, i try to get something from them. apart from the experience, i also gain knowledge.

i realized now that i'm more incline with networking and infrastructure management. that is why, one of my goals before this year ends is to be able to get some short courses on CNAP, cisco's learning program. to enhance my knowledge and also to better appreciate the solutions that i'm handling.

=social=
because i was so busy last month, i hardly had time to go out with my friends and drinking buddies (hehehe!). i wasn't able to watch any movie in the big screen, too. the last time was with my college friends when we celebrate chii's bday. we watched rush hour 3.

and…

tomorrow is my second time to join the weekly badminton games of the software group. i'm also planning to do this every week so that i have something to do for health sake. badminton is really a good form of exercise, because you will really sweat allot especially when you're alway running around.

i hope i could also play bowling again. that is my next goal.

last month, i also got my credit card (yipeee..=P). i told myself that i will NEVER use it for unnecessary buys, but because i was so excited with it. i had made some unplanned purchases.

but one thing that i don't regret purchasing is my PSP. i'm planning to buy this since summer. and i'm glad that i already got myself one.

=plans=
i heard that some of my officemates here are doing a monthly trekking/climbing thing. i hope i could join them someday. i think that's one thing i can do to fulfill one of my "things i want to do" list.

=now=
i'm doing good. this is what single life is all about. yet sometimes, i'm still hoping that the right one will come. but right now, i'm enjoying what i have - my freedom. love, it will come. i'm not in a hurry, i'm still young.
